pg_dump -Fc --compress on PostgreSQL 16, 8 methods measured

zstd:1 dumps 3.3x faster than the default gzip for a 3.7% larger file

Question: PostgreSQL 16's pg_dump accepts --compress=gzip|lz4|zstd[:level] for the custom format. Which method gives the best size for the time on a nightly pg_dump -Fc — and does the choice change pg_restore time?

Result (one 315 MB table, pg_dump -Fc, median of 5 runs each)
